Living Drop Pendant Giveaway.

It's here. In many ways the Drops team is breathing a sigh of relief to finally have this site up and running. All the brainstorming, praying, writing, thinking, and more praying now has a place to land here on Drops. This is our first day!

Our goal is to provide a place for women to learn and grow in Christ. It is just the beginning... so with our relief comes the jitters of a start line. We will be posting every weekday (that's 260 posts in the next year). Each post will include a scripture passage to be read first with link provided -- you can get your Bible out if you wish. Along with the passage will be a short devotional designed to get us (all busy moms) reflecting and acting on the things of God. This will be a short stop, less than 10 minutes, but will provide the inspiration for a growing relationship with Christ.

To kick things off, we are having a giveaway!

Our friend at Happley Made designed a special pendent for our opening week of Drops. We are so excited to present the Living Drop Pendant...

Hand shaped in a teardrop shape and hammered in .925 solid sterling silver wire. Hangs on a sterling silver link. The pendant is about 2" long and is displayed on a delicate ribbon.

To enter to win this beautiful necklace pendent, just leave a comment at the bottom of this post. In your comment, let us know the last devotional book you read.

  • Want more ways to enter? Okay. Leave another comment if you become a fan of Drops Of Living Water on Facebook.

  • Our goal is to get the word out about Drops, so share our link (DropsOfLivingWater.com) on your blog or Facebook for another entry to this giveaway.

  • Sign up for an RSS feed and get email updates with Drop devotionals right to your account and leave another entry.

  • And finally, click the "follower" box on the left and leave an additional comment to let us know you are following (anonymous or public, your choice).

The giveaway closes on Sunday, the winner announced on Monday, September 6th and the pendant will be mailed directly to the recipient.
(Leave your email info so we can contact you).

Our regularly scheduled posts begin on September 7th. If you haven't read what Drops is all about, take a moment to read the "about" page or scroll down to the next post.

Thank you for stopping by!

I am soooo thankful to have run across you, your blog, your inspiration and now this new jewel. I have been wanting a devotional and have tried many that just lay around collecting dust. I can visualize the last one that I bought, which is by Beth Moore (I think) and suprisingly dry, which I don't need more of... thank you soooo much for opening your heart up to the rest of us busy moms.

I can't remember the last devotional-type book I read. I tend to just use my Bible and various commentaries and am not really that fond of devotionals actually. Right now I'm reading through Isaiah.

PS) It's not that I'm not fond of your blog and its devotional aspect, I just hadn't come across many devotional books in the past that were any good and basically gave up on that genre.

Oh, and I just became a facebook fan. :)

I followed. (Funny because the daily story in Madison's devotional on Aug 30 was about Follow the Leader and how we want to follow a good leader and that God is good. I am happy to follow you and learn more about Him.)

I tried to add the RSS feed, but I couldn't quite figure out how. "A" for effort? :-) I figured I needed to do different comments for each entry in case there was a random drawing of each! Great pendant by the way! I LOVE the graphics! You have definitely WET my appetite!

I am really excited to start with this. I found out about it right after I had to give up going to a ladies Bible study. So that convinces me that this is a God thing! I love to read the Proverbs 31 emails. I get them every day.

Hi! I am reading through the Bible and Life journaling, which is a daily reading plan from both OT and NT, in which you read through the entire Bible in a year. I love it. I went through Battlefield of the mind as well, and also love a little devotional called 31 days of Praise...which can be read over and over and over...
